Data centres
3 Canadian facilities. Every server is in one of them.
CACloud runs from named buildings in Toronto and Vancouver. Each has UPS and diesel generator backup, climate control, a pre-action sprinkler system, card access and camera monitoring, and a network operations centre watching it around the clock.

Locations
Servers are ordered by city. Toronto plans run from 151 Front Street. Vancouver plans run from the two Metro Vancouver sites: 555 West Hastings Street downtown, and 1478 Hartley Avenue in Coquitlam.

Facilities table
One row per building fact, as stated for each site. A dash means the site does not list that item.

Power and environment
Each site has uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and diesel generators. The UPS carries the load the moment utility power drops; the generator takes over for as long as the outage lasts.
Climate is held by dedicated control systems. Fire protection is a pre-action dry-pipe sprinkler system: the pipes stay empty until a detector trips, so a damaged head cannot flood a rack. Clean-agent extinguishers cover the first response.
Access and monitoring
Entry to each data centre needs a security access card, and the floors are recorded by DVR camera systems. Inside, CACloud equipment sits in private caged enclosures that only authorised staff can open.
What happens once someone is inside the cage, including two-factor VPN access to hosts and the access log, is on the security architecture page.
Network
Every site is multi-homed: it connects to more than one upstream Tier 1 carrier, so one carrier's outage does not cut the building off. Each building has a meet-me room, the place where carriers hand traffic to us.
How the network is laid out above the building, from redundant links to private VLANs per customer, is on the cloud architecture page.
24/7 operations
The Network Operations Center (NOC) staff monitors the network 24x7x365, while our network engineers and facility staff are available at any time in the event of an emergency. You also have around-the-clock access to phone or online support
The support policy explains what is covered by default and what managed support adds.
Availability commitment
The facilities above back a written service level. SSD Cloud Servers are committed to 99.9% monthly availability; production private clouds of three nodes or more to 99.95%. The one-node development environment carries no commitment, by design. Availability is measured per region, so Toronto and Vancouver are counted separately.
If we miss the number, the service level agreement sets out the credit, up to 30% of the bill for that region.
