vCPU allocations use shared host processors. Standard VPS support covers infrastructure incidents, provisioning help and basic setup. Backups, commercial licences, OS administration and application work are separate services.

What is under the plan.
The same platform in both cities: KVM guests on enterprise hosts, replicated SSD storage and a Tier 1 Canadian network.
Deploys in minutes
A new server is built from a template and is online in minutes, in Toronto or Vancouver. No waiting on a person to set it up.
Storage that does not depend on one disk
Your data is written to several disks on several servers at once, so no single disk or server holds the only copy. Losing a drive loses no data, and nothing your server needs sits on a single machine.
Enterprise server hardware
Servers run on enterprise-grade hosts in our own facilities. Each plan gets its own allocation of CPU cores, memory and SSD storage, and you can raise it from the panel.
Tier 1 bandwidth
Every plan includes at least 1 TB of monthly transfer over Tier 1 upstream links. Traffic is not throttled, and you can raise the port speed at any time.
Private and public networking
Your servers can talk to each other over a private network. That traffic, including file storage and host-to-host copies, never counts against your monthly transfer.
KVM virtualization
KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is open-source full virtualization built into Linux. Each guest gets its own isolated kernel and resources.
Full root control
Root SSH and SFTP access to install what you need and tune the system your way. A remote console in the panel reaches the server even when the network stack is down.
Faster than spinning disks
SSDs serve random reads and writes many times faster than hard drives. Dynamic sites and read-heavy databases feel the difference first.
Included with every plan
Level 1 gets the same platform as High Volume 4.
The size changes; the storage, network, access and support terms do not.

Availability is measured every calendar month, per region, with credits of up to 30% when we miss. The commitment and its terms are on the service level page. Backups are an optional add-on; once enabled they run daily and are stored apart from the server. Network DDoS protection does not include a website firewall or application maintenance.

How much technical knowledge do I need?
A Cloud Server can be set up online within minutes. You get a user-friendly control panel and pre-installed software, so you need very little experience to get started. Remember that Cloud VMs are not managed by default. Each user maintains their own server.
Can I run Windows or Linux on my Cloud Server?
Yes. You can pick from preconfigured Windows and Linux templates, including Red Hat, Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu, right from the control panel. You can also one-click install leading applications such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla.
Can I upgrade an existing Cloud Server?
Yes, it is easy. Log in to your control panel, buy the extra resources, and assign them to your machine. The system shuts the machine down, upgrades it, and brings it back up on its own.
How many IPs do I get?
Every system comes with at least 1 dedicated IP address, as shown in each hosting plan. If you need more, buy them directly from the control panel or email sales@cacloud.com.
Are backups included with my Cloud Server?
Backup solutions can be purchased as an additional service.
